Thank You Essential Workers

20200610_234500

As a nurse, I’ve never imagined that I would experience a pandemic of this scale. COVID-19 or Coronavirus has brought the whole world to its knees. It’s a virus with unprecedented high infectious rate that prompted most countries to have “lock downs” or “stay-at-home” orders except for essential workers.

During this crisis, I have witnessed the braveness and willingness of fellow essential workers who continue to stay in the front lines, in order to take care of sick patients and ensure their safety. I haven’t noticed any call-ins or absences since this pandemic started and I’m proud to work alongside these brave souls.

I would like to acknowledge and especially thank our healthcare technicians who tirelessly help us nurses to care for our patients, the cleaning crew who clean our healthcare premises, our social workers, administrative assistants and the public transportation drivers who transport our patients. The list goes on and you know who you are. Thank you for all your dedication and hard work.

  1. We will NEVER be able to say “Thank you” enough to first line/essential workers during this hellish time. ❤ ❤

    • Thanks Lyn and you’re welcome. Indeed, there’s a lot of essential workers to thank for their services. The sad part is that, it’s not over yet. Here in Texas, the ICUs are nearing their full capacity and the PPEs are still in shortage, so a lot of healthcare workers get sick resulting to understaffed facilities.

      • I’ve been watching all the updates of Covid-19 in America, and thinking of all my blogging friends over there. ❤

Thanks for coming by today and for your kind words. I will visit you as soon as I can. Have a fantastic day and don't forget to smile. ~ Shey
